Children’s Early Years

The early years of a child’s life are crucial for the growth and development of the child in relation to their physical health, mental health, emotional health, social competence, and spiritual awareness. The first five years of a child’s life are what shapes the foundation of a child’s future happiness, health, growth, achievement in the education field, development, family relationship, and life in general. The extensive research that has been done by many professionals in the field of developmental child psychology and similar fields that shows the development of the child’s brain when the environment is conducive to growth and when it’s not.

Early Years are the Building Blocks

Your child’s early experiences provide the foundation and building blocks of everything that follows in their life. This is when the child learns quickest in-comparison to any other time in their life.  Similarly, this is the time that parents can have the most direct impact on how the child develops social skills, emotional comprehension, and the foundation of how to learning occurs.

Every parent wants to nurture confidence and security in their child. Parents can do this by providing the following:

  • Loving their child
  • Showing affection
  • Being attentive
  • Providing lots of positive encouragement
  • Providing an environment and resources that stimulation their child’s brain
  • Providing good health care and nutritious meals

From our experience working with parents, parents that understand the stages of development of their child are better equipped with supporting their child. It helps the parents pinpoint exactly how to best support their child’s growth and development in different stages.
